I took in the annual Port Elgin car show that takes up most of down town Port Elgin with a very large number of oldies. My lady and i took in the event without one of our oldies. We just went out there for the day because it is such a beautiful area right near the Saugeen shores near Lake Huron. This kind of vintage car venue keeps me away with my own old car because there are way too many ways of getting your car damaged by the good folks that (just do not get it) and i will leave it at that. The weather was hot cold hot cold but warm enough to enjoy. Many sweet rides and it was very difficult to take pictures with so many folks in that area but i gave it a try and i hope you folks enjoy the rides. It is all winding down real fast now and i am trying to take in all that is left. I will take the 60 Impala flat top. Cheers.

MY BEAUMONT HAS 4 STUDDED TIRES AND 2 BLOCKHEATERS......AND LOTS OF OIL UNDERNEATH.  The other one has a longer roof.

I wondered if that was the car! Is that the same colour as when you had it?

 Yes, Desert Beige. Was original paint when i had it.  has now been redone with base clear,  the lighting in the pictures make it look weird tho

Thanx George these pics as always are great. We live a little more than an hour away from Port Elgin

and it always amazes me the variety of cars you see there. Recognized quite a few from our area.

 Sure I can Carl.  Thanks.  That one looks pretty soft in many areas.  Funny many shows will have one of the Econolines or A100s but in Louisville this summer with over 12 thousand cars registered I only saw a half dozen cab overs.  I like the odd ball stuff.
