Winter Trip to Florida

Hi Everyone

My wife and I are considering a trip this upcoming March 2020 to Florida around the Old Town area.  We are hoping to bring our 67 Beaumont down, the problem that we are encountering is Hotels / Motels ( at least the ones we have contacted ) don't allow a truck and Car hauler in there parking lot.  I am not fussy about leaving my trailer in a public or gated parking lot away from the motel, secondly I plan to put my car inside during nights while locked to my truck.

Has anyone here ever done this ? how did you make out? any tips would be appreciated.

Thanks

I'd be awake all night staking out my truck/trailer parked in a Wally World parking lot.
