I received a text asking me to verify my Netflix account. Funny, I dont have a Netflix account!

I got hit by this one as well. Said they were from Google. It was my work number. They asked if they were speaking to (our company name). I said yes and they hung up.

We refuse to answer any unidentifiable calls. Let them leave a message. My messages have us being sued

for non payment, CRA is coming to arrest us, we've won at least 3 trips to Hawaii and I need to upgrade everything I own,

for a fee of course.

Another scam has them wanting you to call their number pretending to be your credit card company. Their number converts

to a 1-900 number with enormous charges.

Scammers can project any phone number on to your caller ID.

Don't answer anything unless you absolutely know it's legit.

Yes. Our friends initially asked if we are screening our calls ... And they now know that we are. smile

I get all these as well, usually let them go voice mail. I also get the Chinese embassy calls as well. I don't speak Mandarin so I had a colleague that does listen to the message. I get these regularly, its so annoying.
