Cool!

A guy I worked with and his Dad bought a classic 50's car (forget the make) in the Kawartha, Ontario area in the late 70s.

Turns out that the owner's husband drove it home after grocery shopping in the midst of a heart attack. The husband passed away, and the car remained parked in the garage for decades, untouched.

When he and his Dad bought it, they found the trunk full of groceries. The fruits and vegetables were shriveled-up and dehydrated. He said there were hard oranges the size of ping pong balls. The grocery receipt was there and showed the exact date the car was parked and the cheap prices of the food.

RE: Dewar Coupe

2 cool stories, what a nice time capsule. Dewar is a PEI name, maybe the car has roots in PEI?
