I have what should be a very nice carb core for 1968 big blocks.
The parts books say this is the carb for the following 1968's:
-Full size Pontiac and Chevrolet 396/325 hp and 427/385 hp
-Beaumont and Chevelle 396/325 hp
-Camaro 396/325 hp
-Nova 396/325hp
The carb has been stored inside, never sitting outside. The linkage moves freely.
The number on the side of the body is 7028210 EE and on the base is 3637. I expect this is typical of GM using the Julian calendar to date their parts, so the 363 is 2 days from the end of the year and 7 would be 1967. That would make this carb correct for any of the above listed vehicles built early in 1968, I am guessing maybe the first two months of 1968?
I would like to get $150 plus actual shipping costs for it. I had planned to use it on my 427 but it's the wrong year and I was lucky enough to have someone on this site sell me a correct numbers carb for my 1966.
If you would like it professionally rebuilt, I can set you up with that. Autoline in Winnipeg does that work and they do a great job. I would have to verify it but it seems to me the cost for that is around $350, maybe a bit more. It's worth every penny of that to get it done but that would be up to you.
