MCACN cars exiting

Last Sunday night in Chicago.........at 9:56 is a member of the 348 409 club.....'Home Wrecker'

Some of the rarest and most sought after muscle cars in the world. Included is the actual 1968 mustang fastback that was driven by Steve McQueen in the movie...

I've always liked seeing the cars moving, like they used to cruise around hamburger stands back in the day.

That Home Wrecker 63 is a mid to low 10 second car and absolutely pristine.

Used to go to the big cruise at Mapleview Mall in Burlington, Ontario regularly and always waited to the end

to watch the machines cruising from the parking lot - best part of the show......biggrin

In the late 80's the cruise nights in London would be at a different Burger King location. The cars would actually go on a cruise. It's too bad they don't do that anymore.

Wow, thanks for this. And at 14.40 to the end is the original Bullitt Mustang!

Next best thing to being there. Thanks for posting.

Loved the Home Wrecker as well as the 61 Catalina at 3.25. And all of those 69 Super Bees and Charger Daytonas.

It is called classic car perfume and who needs oxygen anyway, when you got that many beauties to scope out.

We went for a burger and a beer while they drove out because my car was at the other end of the building and had to wait to get tow rig from holding lot.

Man - I would have loved to breath in that hi octane toxic mix while they were driving out.

I remember initiating my son into the world of nitro back in our racing days in the early nineties.

One year at Indy Kenny Bernstein was warming up the Budweiser King and we held Mike in position

to savour the nitro fumes......he was 10 and came out coughing and wheezing......but said later he loved it and

laughed it off........no ill effects to this day and still laughs about it.

Sort of like the smell of napalm in the morning.....if you get my drift.

Bernie, you really are a die hard gear head. Only major league die hard car lovers feel this way. I have always savoured the various aromas that come from a vintage motor myself. Cheers.

We used to get a whiff of that sweet exhaust when we went to St.Thomas dragway. We'd say "MMMMMM Av' gas" as in Aviation gas.
