The entire vehicle has less than 250 miles on it since new with the exception of the engine which has less than 1000 with all hot rod parts inside, ($2700 in parts alone) 240 hp,
I also have a Offenhauser four barrel intake manifold and headers not yet installed which should increase
the horsepower significantly, have the original engine (140 hp.) I have no propulsion system set up on it for going on water
I first wanted to make sure floated and how well,
Built it from scratch right from the Aircraft aluminum frame everything else is Aircraft aluminum sheets
with rubber seals between them aircraft rivets approximately every 2 inches and has four Pontoons
built into the body, I also have a aluminum four barrel Offenhauser intake manifold and headers that are not yet installed,
Stanley (gentleman who built it ) bought a brand new 1971 Chevrolet 20 series three-quarter ton and
used that running gear it has a three speed floor shift.and runs, drives and handles beautifully.
Finished building It drove it for 20 miles and parked in his backyard and it sat there from 1991 to 2012
I have put approximately $12000 into it since, everything.is new including tires.
I have added over 9 inches of foam insulation used in Hydrocrafts.
I knew Stanley for 20 years and he never mentioned that his RV that he built from scratch was intended to be a boat as well. $25000 obo or trade.
I'd hate to paddle that giant doorstop across a lake.
