Searching for a grille on Ebay, will this fit a 65?

Says it will, so I'm making an offer...

What is it with the search? If 20 pages come up, you better go through it all, as the program obviously sprinkles crumbs of what you're looking for among a bunch of flea market junk.

One of my big frustrations with eBay.
Somehow sellers have found a way to have their ad pop up even if it matches none of the key words in your search.
Have to believe this is annoying lots of searchers and turning them off using eBay.
eBay doesn't seem to care but it is quickly falling out of favour with people.

Yes, it looks to be going downhill. I'm sure they could take action and bring it back up, but like you said, it appears they don't care anymore.

I find it fraudulent that the description of the way off product can be connected to my search.

But I'm still amazed at what can be found, as long as you are willing to spend the time to look through it all.

The worst part is EVIL BAY asks you in a survey "how are we doing" and when you respond with any comments nothing is done! The worst though is the CHINA JUNK that is practically in every ad.

Every time I do a survey I tell them the same thing that keeps me away from ebay unless I'm desperate, and that is exactly the issue Mark talks about. Bull you-know-what a 1932 Ford grille shell fits a 1965 Pontiac. I have told ebay in very strong language that they need to quit doing that.

eBay is good for under $20 Chinese junk with free shipping and you are willing to wait 2 months to get it, that is all.
