https://www.kijiji.ca/v-classic-cars/sunshine-coast/1963-pontiac-other-convertible/1483587431    This car is about 3 miles from me!  Who knew? Is this owner a member?   I might have to go snooping   lol  Never seen one with buckets and a column shift.

Maybe buckets were added? In chevies, a column shift with buckets still had a console, but with a blank covering the shifter mount area, very rare.

I have seen several GM cars with buckets and column shift. The console was still an option. Most were from the mid sixties and up to the mid seventies. The shop that I worked at was also a used car dealer, and it was interesting seeing these kind of oddball combinations. The original bucket cars without a console had carpets that met in the centre of the car and the bench seat cars were about six inches short of meeting, so it was easy to see if the bucket seats were added. The strangest was a loaded Buick with buckets and no console in a four door sedan!
