Browsing FB marketplace and ran across this little gem.  Same model and year as my car so couldn't resist, from 1970 and in original box!  I like vintage toys, and have a couple but not an expert by any means, just thought it was neat that it was England made by Corgi. Of course googled to make sure I wasnt overpaying and the couple I found were 2 - 2 1/2 times what I paid so drive 45 minutes to pick up (I dont count fuel lol).

Neat!

I still have that very Corgi Toy, though the windshield broke off back in '72 and I subsequently lost the top. Don't break that windshield as they are vulnerable! I also traded the original take-off wheels for a set of take-offs from a '68 Corvette.

Great find! I'm a huge fan of old Corgi toys.

Very cool.  I had one of those Corgis with the take-off wheels, but can't remember which model it was.  I do know it wasn't the Camaro...

Don't think I'll be playing with it much, lol...wink, but thanks for the warning regardless!  That 50 year old plastic gets pretty brittle.

Thanks, I am too!  For some reason I just like the fact the old ones were made in England....just not a fan of the quality of the real British cars biggrin, nice to look at though!

It seems the Brits were better at making toy cars than the real ones!
