I was late in discovering Clive Cussler's "Dirk Pitt" adventure books. It was about 3 years ago when I picked up my first copy (Black Wind) and have read most of the Pitt adventures. Even if you aren't big on fiction and you've never read one of his books you'll really enjoy them. As an avid car collector he never missed to sprinkle in an interesting mix of classic cars in his stories. He had an incredible car collection and I wonder what will become of it.
He bankrolled a Canadian shipwreck hunting show called The Sea Hunters ... very good show! He had a great life!
