I may have posted this before and if so I apologize. A guy wrote a computer program that can recognize a spam caller and knows when that caller has paused and inserts random sentences that sound like an elderly man. Hilarious!

When someone calls me and i think there is a scam going on, i take a very deep breath and scream at the top of my lungs into the phone. I try to give these scum suckers a head ache. biggrin

I have a company phone that for some reason gets about 5-8 scam calls a day. the call display shows a city in the US. I always answer in a loud radio announcer voice, and say, "Our next caller is from (fill in city) Your on the air! What's your opinion? " Then I get a dial tone. People around me get a kick out of it!

 I turn the tables, talk over the person, and I say I own a funeral home. Then I proceed to tell the person about this weeks deals and specials.

 George, go to Princess Auto or CTC & buy a cheap compressed air horn!!  Works much better than screaming and your throat will be better, gets the same results only more intensive!!!!

 I think i busted my guy on this one. The scammer has to be the dumbest going, being on the hook that long.

A guy at work today got a call on his cell from Canada Revenue Agency. He proceeded to provide them his full name, address and Social Insurance Number. Shortly thereafter he thought something was a bit amiss, and hung up.

Apparently he'd never heard of this scam, but was in full panic mode afterwards.
