I just received a call from one of the organizers of the Ancaster Swap Meet and he informed me it has been cancelled. They are planning to have the next one on Oct.25th.
As of a few minutes ago the Carlisle site was still showing a countdown to its start.
But I really doubt it'll be held. Just doesn't make sense. Wish it was otherwise as our reservations are made but can't see it.
Given the growth curve of the virus in the US I can't see Charlotte NC or Carlise PA going ahead in April. I had considered going to both but not now, even if they do proceed.
Announcement coming this morning from both US/Canada on border closures, hints so far will only allow "trade" traffic in and out of ea. country. No "NON" essential crossing, so it may be "mute' as to whether these events go or not. My friend in WV is giving it 2 weeks before he cancels his FOP car show end of May!! Can see our car shows & cruises getting cancelled here, unless they get a handle on this $hit" Main St. of Port Perry was a "GHOST" town yesterday!!!
