The scumbag needs something of his that he values taken/thrown out or better yet given away to his worst enemy!! Then have to pay what it's going to take to replace the drivetrain in said Lincoln. But we all know what kind of reality is going to happen, 30 days probation, zero restitution and then back to running his shop. That's the legal system looking out for the victims.

What a scumbag. At least Hurst makes motor mounts to swap in other more hop-able & efficient V8s in place of that flathead V12, but the Zephyr trans was what the old hot-rodders went after since they could handle torque well.

 

You know, psychoanalyzing people before dropping a project or cash on them doesn't seem frivolous, especially in light of this. The "mechanic" is either in over his head, has major personal and/or cash flow problems, or is just plain damaged goods.

 Years ago a TV news show paraded a bunch of young offenders into a hall with prison inmates.

The inmates kept talking about how these kids will end up if they keep on stealing.

One kid started mouthing off. An inmate walked up took the kids shoes off and walked away with them.

The kid started complaining and finally shut up. When the session was over the inmate kept the shoes and

never returned them to the complaining youth. Hopefully he learned what's it's like to have your stuff stolen.

Good thing is it happened in the USA & there court Judges are not the 'WIMPS" we have here!! They hand out "HARD" & long prison terms!! When I first met my friend in WV and he was still on Charleston Police dept, we saw the police marching prisoners down the street from police station to court house [ 2 blocks away] in cuffs & leg irons!! Rusty said they do this to publicly "SHAME" them!! Can you imagine that happening here?? NOT!!!!!
