The "Fonz" was a big put-on. Actually Henry Winkler is a really solidly-grounded individual and I admire him. He has a great and positive outlook on life and yet is humble (a little different from the Fonz).

One thing though, he could not ride a motorcycle and the part on Happy Days where he rides in on the bike was really a hairy out of control thing.

Here's a vintage pic of Bob Dylan on his Triumph Tiger 500. He later crashed it. Not surprising when I see the amateur riding position.

I never watched "Happy Days", the show that his character was in. I remember as a young man back then thinking how bad the show really was after seeing it maybe a couple of times. I remember seeing a scene somewhere where he was in a garage with a car under a cover. He stood next to the covered car and proclaimed.......... "The greatest car ever made, the 1955 Chevy " and pulled off the cover to show the car to his buddy's. The car was a 1953 Chevy, not a 1955 Chevy. I mean come on, really. Who the heck got a 1955 and a 1953 Chevy mixed up. That showed me right there how dumb that show was. biggrin
