What's wrong with this picture?

I suspect this is being sold by someone who doesn't know differentials very well. I debated emailing him to let him know but on Kijiji it seems to be a crap shoot if you try to be helpful. I base that after looking at some of the "helpful" emails I've received when I've listed an item for sale.

I suspect this will only sell if someone needs a yoke.

Ring and pinions are always machined and sold as matched set. Can't use one without the other?

Yes, I'm thinking he likely has no idea.

But you know if I send him a message to that effect there's a good chance it won't be appreciated!

Ask him if he has the ring gear. If he replies no, then tell politely tell him that it's useless to you not as a set.

The price is right if the yoke is good though. And you get a peice of bench art with it.

The 43 tooth ring gear used with a 3.07 is shared with the 3.31, the difference is the 13 vs. 14 tooth pinion.

Agreed though, garage art by itself.
