If you know of a child that is stuck at home at not able to have a birthday celebration please contact us to arrange a date and time for your own mini parade! Please be aware that we can only offer this on dates and times that members are available to operate the apparatus and that we will not be stopping, drive by only. We promise to use all of our flashing lights and make lots of noise!

Nice. I read that our police and firemen did a small parade by the hospital today in appreciation of all the health care workers. Lights flashing and short siren chirps.

In times like these, we need to throw "normal" out and do stuff like this. We visited with our neighbours today (at a distance of course, lawn chairs on the driveway, we're still isolated) and I was telling them I thought we need to scrap all the rule books and run our lives with common sense.

The social distancing street parades are a cool concept ... good stuff!

In isolation, we did the same as well Carl, the sun was out, it was quite warm and we had two people visit us a couple of days ago. We did a quadrant of 4 chairs on the front lawn, all a good 10 feet apart, no physical or item contact whatsoever.

It was fine, good to be in the sun, good for our mental health. and the beer tasted mighty good.

All the cars that happened by all gave a wave.

Be careful, but just have a little common sense, perfect.
