There was only one Don Knotts, good or bad. Think I've mentioned it before on here but I got my driver's license with a 66 Dodge A100 that my dad had. 90 inch wheel base was easy to parallel park compared to many of the late 60s vehicles.
Being 61 years old, i grew up with his many on TV antic's and i would get nervous just watching his nervous antics. I always thought Don was a real talent with a very special niche and that niche kept him very employable. He was always a very likable person and in real life it appears he was as well. Even before he made his many big bucks he had a wife that married him before the big bucks came in. His wife was a very beautiful woman and that speaks volumes about the character behind the amazing face. He was real, not just this nervous Hollywood character that entertained us all for many years.

He was more than met the eye for sure, character actor Don Knotts.
Worked with a guy many years that although had no resemblance, had the same goofy character as him when joking around and drinking. Went to New Orleans with him. So much fun, and we actually lived despite the gun incident.
