Spot on, now that looks to be a real nice project car. You know what I find peculiar about this car is the fact that our car had the very same ding in the very same spot of rear fender above the bumper.
I could never figure out how you could bang a fender above that style of bumper without doing a number to the bumper? all in all very easy fix.

Nice old car.  From the trunk and underside pics, it looks like it spent a good chunk of its life traversing dirt roads!

I'd drive it just as it is, maybe soak the underside in Krown or Rust Check to halt the rusting process though.  Also looks like the floorboards could use a little sandblasting and a repaint from the inside.

Flat head 6 runs great 3 speed standard, new fuel pump, spark plugs, master cylinder, brake hoses and wheel cylinders. Super solid body and floors, very small amount of rust in the tail pain. All original paint and interior, even the wheels have the original pin striping . Enjoy and drive as is or has great hot rod potential. I like this car too. It is very seldom you see a pin stripped wheel especially with 2 stripes. I think this car is on the money.
