I apologize for asking so many questions lately ! And now, I have another one...
I bought a stripped 1981, Z-28 Camaro a few years back, and I had hoped to use the front suspension framework to install in a 1938 Master Deluxe Coupe project. I ended up installing a Mustang II front end instead. The Z-28 is completely stripped of everything, the only two things left are the front suspension clip, and a 10 bolt Posi rear end.
I realize that this forum here is not for selling stuff, so I am just checking to see if any of you" Project Folk's" here might have an interest in this stuff. Some pictures enclosed. The front clip is absolutely complete, control arms, shocks, rotors, calipers, motor mount cradle, power steering box, etc. One would just have to cut off the frame bolts under the floor boards, and this front end would roll right out. Nice and clean, no rust anywhere. This Z-28 had a 350 engine, automatic on the floor.
The rear glass appears to be in good shape, has defroster wires inside, and it looks like it might have tint film on the inside as well. Still installed in chassis, so would have to be removed carefully. Looks pretty useable to me.
I will post a couple of pictures here that I took today. If anyone has interest, kindly reply and I will post it properly in the "Items for Sale" forum. Price will be reasonable as I just have no further use for it, and it will go to the car crusher at some point soon !

Jim, absolutely we have a spot to list this stuff for sale and you'll get the best exposure for it over there! Do you mind if I move it over there? And it will need some kind of an idea as to price. As long as you put a number, "or best offer" can be posted with the number.

I just wanted to " test the waters" here in "The Lounge", just to see if there was any interest in this stuff before the car gets run through the metal shredder.

NO apology necessary at all, this wasn't a moderator reprimand! Just trying to get you the best exposure for your stuff for sale. I know some guys don't care for the idle chatter here in the Lounge and pay no attention to it, so it's best to have it there. Also, a month from now if a guy says "Hey, I saw a front clip for sale on CP", guess where he's going to search......you betcha, in the classifieds.

What is code on the rear axle on the RHS tube near the differential? All are 8.5" 10-bolt. The rear will be a 3.08 ratio on an LM1 automatic. PC = Open 3.08, PQ = 3.08 Positraction, PW = 3.08 Positraction
In Canada-only we could get a 350 4-speed in 1981, whereas in the U.S. the 4-speeds were all 305s & the 350s were all automatics.

I am not sure exactly about the Posi-Trac differential though, as I can't really get under the car to have a look. It is sitting at my airplane hangar right now, and the ground is just too soggy to try and jack it up safely.
I will check out your suggestion about the axle code and send you a quick reply.
