OHC-6 powered. At $750,000 it is a little rich, however lots of people are leasing $400,000+ Bentleys that depreciate.

John Delorean always wanted Pontiac to build a 2-seater but they didn't do so until the Fiero came out (only approved  by GM because it was sold to GM brass as a cheap commuter).

When I saw this car at a POCI meet (I think in 2000?) it was supposedly privately owned and Wiki agrees with that. 

Surviving Vehicles[edit]

Both original Pontiac Banshees from 1964 survive today and are in the hands of private collectors. The silver hardtop version of the Banshee was last seen in the classic car section of Napoli Indoor Auto, In Milford, CT, until 2020, when the coupe was put on sale and can be used as a trade in at a Kia dealership in Connecticut. It is believed to be one of the two Banshee I vehicles to have survived its multiple owners, as the coupe was acquired by a GM employee after its auto show service life had concluded and began trading hands among collectors once the original owner passed away in 2006.^[8
