car is in Russell

Only exterior pictures and no description or mention of interior

Updated to a 327 quite a while ago but never licensed.

Pricey enough for a car still needing some work.

I make it a point never to call people about cars for sale when they can't even be bothered to look at the cars emblem to get the correct spelling.

That means they know pretty much nothing about the car.

No interior pictures for that price. Looks like the seats are just piled loose inside.

Pricey for a finished 4 door. $26,000 may be his cost with some labour? When cars are apart, you have a risk you won't have everything to put it back together, so to me that is a big discount, since finding missing unique parts for this car can be time consuming and expensive. Plus you need extra room to haul parts so shipping can be difficult and more expensive?

In this market, a 4 door, apart, lucky to get $5-10,000? It looks like a good straight car but you'd want to see it up close.

It is a nice looking example. When I see the wheels & especially the tires it rolls on, the story about sitting since 1982 is believable. The wheels & Uniroyal white-letter radials like that look like they came straight off a new 1981 Z28. Not safe to run but cool to see nonetheless.

I agree that it's a nice looking car, and if the paint was done well and the 'new' chrome is still in good shape, there is some value there.  There are still many things unseen in the ad, plus there's the possibility that there will be many items that will have to be dealt with simply due to the car sitting all this time.

On a good day, a mint, low-mile survivor wouldn't fetch $26K.  So if the seller wants to sell it, there will be a price correction no doubt.
