1. 1976 LeMans available in USA with 455.
2. 1977 LeMans Enforcer available in USA with 455. (That'd be either a two door or four door.)
Ray, just FYI your source sold his Can Am and 1973 GTO a couple years ago to buy a gorgeous 1977 SE TA with four speed, to go with his other S&B car.
I bet you're anxious to get your staff back.. hang in there.
Hey Bob, I knew Rick had sold his cars in favour of the S&B set and we recalled 4 staff today, only 135 to go.
In my spare time the past week which means after midnight to about 2:00 am I've been researching this 455 1976 LeMans thing. I figured with such a hot and desirable car one would be able to find good evidence of their existence on the web, after-all we all know car guys love to boast about their "BIG BLOCK PONTIACS" and other rarities. I can find a certain 454 1973 LeMans all over the web at many web sites BUT so far I can't find a single 1976 Grand LeMans or any '76 LeMans with a factory 455. To be fair I did find one 1976 Sport Coupe on YouTube which has a 1971 455 that the owner says was a 455 Enforcer.,....really a Sport Coupe cop car with a console and buckets...never say never, but its got a 1971 455 not the as born with engine. Yes, the Enforcer was available on the 2 door but wouldn't that be the base model? I don't know US cars that well to know for sure. I'll keep looking though.
This is the 1976 LeMans with a 1971 455HO reputed to be a '76 Enforcer with original 455.
Notice it does have passenger mirror delete, no doubt a cost saving measure for Cities on tight budgets,
(I know the picture is terrible)
