Wow, i cant believe they actually did a 4dr HT conversion on the old AMT 67 impala kit, its a nice kit to start with and the 4dr version will be super cool. there was alot of talk about this kit over the last 6 months, but didnt think it would actually be released as a 4dr ht.
Crew Cabs Rock!!!!!!! especially with white striped tires
the chevy trucks and the 66 chevelle will be hits too.

i think the only non stock would be the wheels but those are easy to change, lots of choices out there for that.
Now i just need to find a roof that is more like a sedan, and build one into a 4dr sedan biscayne or belair version. now that would be cool!
Such a beast exists. It is this Greenlight 4 dr HT body modified with the addition of a center post and period police paint job and equipment. The roof line is not completely correct for the sedan but it still looks close and very good.
I have one I picked up at a swap meet at the antique car museum in Hershey Pennsylvania in 2016. It was produced in small numbers as I understand it.
I think the roof could be further modified to Sedan style if someone wanted to.

I was talking about the 1/25 plastic model kit, not the 1/64 diecast. But that is cool that they make those sedans in 1/64. i like the trend in stock appearing sedan replicas instead of the usual SuperSport HT's and convertibles.

That's great, Todd, thanks for posting it. It's the first pics I've seen of a test shot of that model, and it looks pretty good. Hopefully the final version gets emblems. Would have been nice if they could have tooled up some stock hubcaps, but I'm happy with this - I think the stock caps will probably be able to be sourced from the aftermarket. Lots of kits out there where a small block could be sourced as well, in case somebody wants to build a more garden-variety version. Nice to see as there aren't too many (like none) 4-door hardtops tooled up these days. Have to be thankful that Supernatural was popular...
