Looking for a source for a Rear Package Tray for 66 Bonneville. I know the US has them brand new for 50 bucks. But I dont want to pay 300usd just for shipping (that's what I was quoted).
If anyone knows of another size with cheaper shipping. Please let me know. Thanks
Thanks Guys! That works if its interchangeable. Theres a couple of places in Canada that have it for the Impala. So I may give that a try. Ill try calling antiquchev as mentioned as well.
Alright. Spoke to Antique Chev. Customer service is excellent! Now they said they will see if they can find one for the Bonneville but cant guarantee it.
They can possibly get one for 66 Impala. It may take up to two months though.
Mike look at chart there the same, you shouldn't even mention Pontiac as now they know your stuck, did you price it out first ?? I deal with BayRidges Chevy & think their tied together. I had to wait 3 weeks for Pwr. Booster & when ordering anything for Safari & just say Chev for most parts.

I think the shape should be the same, it's the texture that is likely different.
All told, I think the tray is just a piece of stiff cardboard laminated with a particular textured and coloured layer, along with a strip of padded vinyl along the leading edge.
You could probably make a passable facsimile of it yourself.

Yes. Priced out the 66 Impala one for $75. But it would have to be special ordered.(minimum 10 package tray orders for them to bring it in).
Theres a couple more places I will call though. One site shows $56 cdn
in most GM cars there was two options. The MESH tray that came in vehicles that had rear speakers factory installed. I my opinion this mesh covering disguised the fact that there were speakers in the vehicle. The plain surface tray seemed to be the most common.
Because of the size and shape of the tray shipping becomes a problem. It becomes an over size parcel. You can ship several trays for a same cost as one tray. We used REM for most of our tray purchases and they simply refused to ship one tray. Multiple trays gave the box more strength.
