Finally Getting a Piece of My Canadian Heritage!

I've purchased the '66 Beaumont SD restomod that jmont64 posted about last month.  It's in Port Alberni, and I'm in Greensboro, NC, so the logistics are daunting, but I'm a patient soul.  The pictures aren't calendar quality, but it's a nice car.  It will look good parked in front of my '56 vintage Supertest gas pump!

It's got a built BBC (displacement subject to verification), a 700R, modern front discs, Dakota Digital instruments, and a Lokar shifter. Includes a wood grain wheel for a contemporary GTO, but I'll likely leave the correct, '67 Beaumont item in place, even though it's a year off. Will definitely add Vintage Air - getting to and from car shows here, in July and August, demands it. One Happy Expatriate Canuck

Nice car, have fun with it!

By chance do you have anything to do with the chapter of the Pontiac Oakland Club there? I know a couple in that group, she comes from Winnipeg, about 40 miles from me. If you know them and he sees the car, I bet he will love it!

Thanks, Bro.  I've been a member for years, but this is my first investment.  Was on the survivor '67 in Quesnel, but the gentleman has fallen ill, and a transaction isn't possible, then another member brought this one to my attention.

I'm technically supposed to be in Calgary for a Board meeting, the first week of August, but the betting money has another Zoom conference in my future.

No, my collection since we've moved here has consisted of various Chevys, now including an Olds 442.  And, soon the Beaumont.  Drop your friend my contact info, happy to connect with other refugees in the area.  There are a lot - this is a big health care centre, and a lot of docs, technicians, nurses, etc. find the taxes and weather here appealing.

If you find your local chapter of POCI, lookup Rocky and Kasey. Everyone there will know them. He has a really cool 1966 "GTO" wagon, and I think they have a total of about 12 cars.

Congrats on your purchase!  I imagine you'll have fun with it, answering the questions about "what is it?".  She's a beaut!
