That '63 Grand Sport makes a mockery of the term often used today - "383 stroker". Chevrolet built them as a 377, that is what they should always be called. 4" bore block with 3.75" stroke.

You'd be happy owning any one of those cars, even if like me you couldn't fit into the damn things - I'm 6'5".

Another rare Corvette, although not not relating to performance, was the 1977 color "Chartreuse".  Only 1 was built and here's a picture:

THE 77 Chartreuse Vette.jpg

Appears to be a humble L48 car with optional alloy wheels & lettered tires. Picture was taken in Mesa, AZ so a/c as well.

Other rare ones would include any 3-speed manual Corvettes in the late 1960s through 1969, or in 1969 they also produced a couple of Corvettes with a 4.56:1 rear axle ratio.

There was a 1969 ZL-1 convertible here, ordered new by the local dealer and sourced from Baldwin Motors but actually built by Motion performance. GM had not offered a convertible. The owner moved to Edmonton in the mid seventies, I have no idea where the car is now.

I have a buddy who has one of these painted it Red 'cause his wife didn't like the Green. His is the 427 rectangular port tri-power, aluminum heads, M22, side pipe car which he bought in '80 for $5000!! Apparently 4-5 shipped to Canada.
