Cool car, but needs a major wallet infu$ion.

Looks like a good solid car for $2500.  Perfect for somebody with a well equipped shop, good skills, and lots of time to put into it.  Would have to be a labour of love, though, as it needs lots of it (love).

A bit of both lol. Cars are so rusty here that we have a lot of hearty folks who wouldn't think twice about restoring that one. On the other hand we have some places that do some sketchy inspections. We just bought a work fan (Uplander Cargo) that was inspected in May. There's a huge exhaust leak at the manifold (so bad I have to roll down the windows to get the fumes out when I'm sitting at a light) , the high mounth brake light doesn't work (LED bar), the rear wiper doesn't work. These are the obvious issues. We'll have to get it rechecked to make sure the brakes and suspension aren't a mess too.
