Whoever thought to document these very ordinary slices of life was an unsung genius! The stuff you tend to see everyday are powerful memory triggers when you see them from a distance of time. They are also very valuable just to document the incremental changes we don't notice on any given day.
Having it recorded in 16mm must have been fairly expensive as well.
I'll have to check out more of this, but first back to the Saturday honey do list (groan)
I love the first one with Calgary at the beginning. Too bad it only covers less than a mile of MacLeod Trail going south from the Stampede Grounds. I recognized a couple things, but most of it has changed dramatically.
I did recognize some of the scenes in Blairmore AB. The highway mostly bypasses the town now, but I've taken the scenic route a few times.
