What a beauty of a 57 Pontiac but why why why so cheap. If that is a solid car that is too cheap even in today's crappy market in Canada. A 283, hardtop, visor, sweet two tone and all original to boot. I would have loved to see some engine and interior shots. I know i have seen this car before. A C.P. member had bought a rusty 57 two door hardtop from the same guy that owns this sweet heart. At that price she will be gone gone gone soon but i sure hope she goes to a good sane home and not a freaking house of horrors.

There used to be one of those in my area but I havent seen it in about twenty years. Two tone green 261 powerglide. It was in a body shop having two doors replaced due to the owner running a stop sign! It was a reputable shop doing the repairs and the shop owner was really impressed by the cars condition. It was low mileage, about 40,000 and really clean. Sadly the owner passed away before he could pick his car up, old age, he wasnt injured in the accident, 85 years old. A relative paid the bill and took the car and it hasnt been seen since.

I love the colour combination on this 57. Even if you have to replace the body mounts and some floor braces the price is reasonable. You do not see very many 4 door hardtops anymore.
The car shows really nice in the photos - I agree that colour combo is really attractive, plus the 4 door hardtop style is so elegant and much less common than the sedans. Beautiful car.
I can't see any significant bumper rust from the pics. If all it needs is body mount repair then it seems like a fair price - but how much would a 4 door 55-57 pontiac be worth in perfect condition? I don't see how this would be considered to be underpriced (?).

Love the four door hardtops.Like others have said its the roofline that makes it.I had a belair sport sedan in the early seventies with a seldom seen factory dash mounted rear view mirror.Sold it to a friend he still has it! tough shape now tho. With all these posts you see the last number of years of people taking a 4 door sedan and making a 2 door sedan, im expecting one day to see a 4 door hardtop be made into a 2 door hardtop but that roofline will be a dead giveaway,it would proply look great tho.
The bumper rust reminds me of how proud my dad was when he showed me how he could remove small surface rust spots on the 69 Pontiac bumpers using that foil cigarette paper!

My uncle used to always talk about doing that to his beaters.

Very very very good price for this fine example of a 57 Pontiac Pathfinder Deluxe four door hardtop (sport sedan). I would even say a bit of a give away price, contrary to the beliefs of certain detractors.

Dad had someone trade in a car in Summerside on a rainy day. After it stopped raining they discovered the car had rusty bumpers which had been sanded with probably steel wool. The scratches didnt show up when wet.
