Very nice. Nothing wrong with a 2 barrel or a 2 speed trans in my books.

That car runs and drives like the designers intended. Smooth and comfy like riding on a cloud. What a treat after feeing every pebble in my 67!

Don't change a thing Randy.

You should be able to order the tires from any dealer in Canada.

1010tires.com has them.

Front 235/60/15

Rear 255/60/15

Nice picture, Randy. Check your left brake light. I believe you have a bulb out.

Only if you are out racing everything in sight.  The good engineers at GM realized that the combo in Randy's car works very well for 99% of the driving that 99% of their customers did, and that's why they sold literally millions of vehicles with this drivetrain.

Not everybody is a crazy young hotrodder burning up the roads, like Carl... biggrin

I'm like the milk in our fridge, 1%.

And I don't even drink milk.

 I see that now.

GM socket design, keeps popping out.

On my first 69, my dad made tin brackets to hold them in place.

Bingo! Those simple cars seemed to fit the bill for most people, and did so reliably while being easy to repair. Plus they were rugged & economical to own. They weren't called Big cars back then, they were just standard every-man cars. All while being mass-produced & restyled every year to keep our interest and anticipation every fall.

When I think of how many '69 Pontiacs have passed on...

Car looks GREAT BTW!

Pritch, I owe the GM designers an apology wink
