Cherry Bomb muffler FS.

$10.

2" in/out? Made in USA.

Like new. Probably very little road use.

Perfect to make that 6 sound like it has enough power to make it up driveway. Previous

Mark, that six you are laughing at might just surprise you once in awhile. Back in 1977 i put a straight muffler (Thrush) on a 1956 Chev with a 235 six banger in it and wow it was loud, too loud for me.

I think this one is more of a Turbo muffler.

It would probably be a little more tamer in the sound department.

I have fond memories from my teenage years, I split the egxaust on my 216 in a 49 chev business coupe at the manifold and ran dual walker bottles on straight pipes under the diff as was the style of the day. Nothing sounds better to me than that low compression 216 at idle out back, sort of a galloping sound to it, no V6 can compare.

I remember when Thrush was the big power sound adder of the day.

"Sounds" like some really sweet memories.

As a kid i always loved their "Mad Wood Pecker" decal that has become a real hot rod icon.

I have been using Turbo mufflers on all my cars since I was a teenager. In this case "Turbo" is short for Chevrolet Corvair Monza Turbo Mufflers, long recognized as the standard in low back pressure factory design from the sixties. My first use of these was actually on a Chevy Monza, which were bought at GM dealer but my latest pair on the LeMans are actually Cherry Bomb Turbos, double offset that I found on Clearance about 14 years ago at a out of area Canadian Tire that was getting rid of all its performance parts, remember when they had that thick catalogue and sold just about everything including engines? I spent over $700 that day. We bought boxes of Excel wires, mufflers, air cleaners, looms, engine stands, wow it was a fun day.
