Doing some stuff for the boys around the yard even though I really need to pull the motor and rear end out of the poncho

I have finally been worn down and now in the process of building a basketball 1/2 court for the boys, mainly the youngest as hes a basketball freak, and the oldest will no doubt use it when his mates come over. 8m x 8m x 100mm thick pad. Have made the post and backboard heavy duty. Took the measurements from the one in the local park. I figure if they can last against the public abuse, itll do for the boys! Also making repairs on the skateboard ramp. Bit of frame rot in a few spots. Bought this a while back as the youngest wanted us to continually take him to the local skatepark. I said you perfect flips and tricks on this and then Ill take you to the skate park. beats sitting around the parks for a couple of hours!

i was off work for 3 and 1/2 days as I had a sore throat and tight chest so had to go and have a covid test so got a bit done. Had it done on wed morning early and got a negative result back on saturday morning. PHEW! Good news! Felt like they wre stabbing my brain through my nasal passage!

What I really want to do is pull my engine out, fit the closed chamber heads, roller rockers, fix the leaking gaskets and a nice new chevy orange paint job. Then fit the new posi and gears set in the rear end!

Good stuff. Glad to hear your test was negative. I'm heard the swab test is not comfortable!

Wow, nice work!

You will not regret doing that for the kids. Our son is a basketball freak too and we poured a big pad in front of the garage with a net at one end. That kept him entertained for years through his childhood and even after he was finished school.

looks like all your little helpers left to do all the work, LOL. You could also use that pads for a burnout test pad, LMAO.
Yup nice work the kids will appreciate it. You will have the game in your back yard.
