1953 Pontiac Chieftan

$6,500.00

It is an original car. Original interior except headliner and carpet. Carpet is an OEM kit. Paint was done over 30 years ago. All original wiring.. Motor is strong. Brakes were redone a while ago. Frame is in ok shape. It runs and drives, but would need a bit of work for safety.

Looks like a super deal for a sweet looking 53 Poncho. The mechanical work is the fun part anyway. The real serious money is in body and paint, so i would do all the required mechanical work and leave the body and paint as is. A real rare Canadian model deserves to be back on the road. I just say an old car prayer that she goes to a good sane healthy home and not a house of horrors.

 1950 was the first year for the Chevrolet hardtop in the new Bel Air series but i am not sure about the (Canadian Pontiac) first. Anyone out there know for sure.

 Considering how clean the out side is, i would venture a guess that she is probably good under neath. A good going over is always required but i will bet this is a real nice car.
