Anyone done aftermarket a/c on a '66 Beaumont?

I'm ready to buy a kit, but wondering if anyone else has been through this, and what pitfalls the Chebby powertrain/GTO dash might present.

I put Classic Auto Air in my 67 Impala. My shop in Markham did the instal.. Checked the parts list an found one item missing. Corrected by courier immediately. Great for follow up during the installation and I had a fan belt issue a few weeks later. They diagnosed the problem over the phone....needed an extra pulley off the crank to correct. Later I found that my big foot was kicking the tubing off the air deflector and got extra flexible tubing to relocate the tube away from the area of the gas pedal. All in all exceptional resourceful help and prompt replys to any issues Order the instructions to verify every thing will go smoothly before you take the plunge. Check their website for installation option. In dash or under dash Very satisfied

I have not done air in a Beaumont but have in other vehicles, I would build my own system using a Gen4 evaperator  from vintage air, add a couple round bezels in dash and a couple ducts under dash, the rest is easy.

The gen4 vintage air kit in my 67 was a chevelle kit and a control kit for a lemans/got to adapt to the different heater control levers. Contact vintage air and they will design the kit for your application.
