"The masks and the cloth underneath got totally burnt and charred after 25-30 minutes. Do not ever try this at home. You will spoil your masks and high risk of catching fire also"

David Sillers

"Did not work with my IP - safety feature said "burn" and shut off"

I wonder if they put a towel in as mentioned in the video? Also sounds like they may have had it set too high. 170 degrees shouldn't burn them.

Old slow cookers make great hardware paint strippers ... just cook your paint-incrusted hardware for a while and the paint just falls off.

I now feel like I need to pronunciate my words better and use better grammar after watching, and listening, to this video. Especially my Ts!

At least post the good comments: "Very nice. I also add beef stew meat, carrots, onion, garlic, mushrooms, potatoes, and beef broth. After 50 minutes, in addition to having a sanitized mask, I also have a hearty dinner".

They did say at the end of the video that their research was only with this model of cooker and only 3M N95s. Who knows what "Dr Johny Chacko" might have done, as the masks used in the video definitely did not burn, nor did the towel...

My wife loves her Instant Pot and I love the meals she makes with it.
