wagon rear quarter?

took photos this morning to better illustrate the present issue.  damage was repaired back in 1965 and pictures show how well 

the repair has aged!  Not too bad for 55 years!  there is limited access on inside once interior panels are removed but not enough

so guess the panel will have to be removed for repair or replace.  Did look at camino rear quarter panels available from Eckler's, is 

there a Canadian supplier for those style parts?  Also noticed bottom pan of spare tire compartment also rusted but can fab a replacement 

bottom from available sheet metal.  thanks for help

thanks off road, checked out their site but didn't see the section of rear 1/4 I need.
So far the closest is Ecklers Camino rear quarter. May just cut out damaged and form replacement
with jig weld in and re-finish?

Looks super solid BC car to me, just fix what you have in my opinion.   Look into getting a unispotter dent puller.

Nice car by the way,  welcome to the 65 beaumont wagon club,  i think there are only about 10 65 wagons left on the planet!

The car was ordered and purchased new in Beausejour Manitoba in spring of 65.  Has 85,000 original miles.  

I purchased the car from father in 1972 and used as winter car while living in Winnipeg.  Car was stored at 

friends property at Bird River for 25 years until I hauled it back.  Has been in storage here in East Kootenay

since then, just gotten back to it in the last year.  Purchased the original seat 2 tone vinyl from SMS in Oregon.  

Same as 65 GTO fabric.  Headliner and carpet set from NOS.  Having a blast with it!

 Another way of repairing the tire well is welding in a correct sized trailer fender from Princess Auto.

very nice 65 ORT, hoping to drive mine next year. Would be fun to go on a cruise somewhere with a couple of paddle boards on top!

WOW!  so cool.  i guess that is why Dale Neduzuk posted a want ad for a quarter panel?   for a minute i thought another 65 wagon had popped up in manitoba.....na, couldnt be!!  Loving the double stripe whitewalls and the frost shields in the 69 pic,  so cool!

You,  me,  offroadtoad, and Beaumontwagon(chris).  about the only ones around.  a few others out there, but not many.

Mine is a V8 manual transmission "deluxe".  not a "custom"  just finished a freshen up after dragged from a field and used as a parts car, before i got it and put it back together.  Back from the dead, and almost got crushed!

Seriously,  pics are of the same car, and i never painted it,  just cleaned and polished.  paint is from 1966ish

Actually Dale is high school buddy out visiting right now from Manitoba. Heading home to his 55 convert in the morning.
He is going to give me a hand with the body work this year. Funny Beaumontwagon and I both Chris! The frost shields
are funny to see now but were the norm back in the day. Mine is 230 glide car. Looking at your pics, job well done!! a
beautiful save. My plan is to leave paint alone, just buff out what remains of original and decide over time on repaint.
Love the Patina. Lots of credit to my bud Eddy from Bird River who guarded the car for 25 years in his back yard from those
that wanted to part it where it lay. Still have original hub caps too. Did get lots of spare trim from Tin Man years ago when still
in operation.

Holy! I remember seeing the car when it was in Bird River-but nobody was around so I didn't go near it. This was back when I was Beaumont wagon hunting LOL. They are like hens teeth! I think at one point I owned 5 of them! A 66 Custom,2 -68's and 2- 69's. Finding trim for Beaumont wagon specific is harder than anything else I ever searched for. Glad to see that the car is saved and it wasn't parted out. Good one you!

Years ago when I had my 55 Chevy I used to go to Cross Canada Auto for body parts....

Looks like they are still around.

Thought about 283 for a time but decided to stay with I6

Have 230 and 250 same vintage.     

Will pull engine and put on stand before winter, trans needs refresh and gaskets too.

stay away from Cross Canada 1/4 panels ending with the # 86. They are usually hand formed  patch panels  with very little detail. Thr 1/4 panels ending with the # 50 are machine formed . They may still need some tweaking but are'nt too bad
