Pictures size doesn't match the price.

Yes, I don't get it. The car is obviously really nice (gorgeous in fact). Impress me with close-up photos and I might just open my wallet. A 69 Charger R/T is one of the most iconic musclecars, and they were luxurious to boot.

Bad pictures are a pet peeve of mine.

Despite the photos it is clearly and outstanding car, very nice colour combo and options by the look of it.

I agree the pics are crappy, but in reality good pictures only benefit us internet lookeeloos.  If you're plunking down $100K for a car I would hope you are going to see it in person first.

That said, IMHO, although second gen Chargers have taken off in recent years, $100K is too strong for that car.  Although it has a lot of company as people are tending to ask high these days.

Here are the ad pics and text in case it disappears:

1969 charger rt 440 4 speed original paint

$100,000.00

Description

This is a true charger Rt that is all original including paint, car has 73,000 original miles, the engine runs like new. The paint on the car has wear in places but still shows very well, this is a survivor car not a show car. I have the original bill of sale for the car. Only phone calls, emails will not be answered.

Ya, but ads are like fishing, you need a nice flashy lure or tasty bait to attract a fish. Good pictures can chum the waters.

I really think this car is outstanding and I'm not distracting from its beauty, Magnum 500's are very nice but for me some reason my favourite wheel treatment is the full wheel cover like the Bullitt car ran. That would be the icing on the cake for me with this beauty.

True enough.  A good car could get overlooked by a potential buyer if the pics are bad.  Just saying that if I were spending $100K on a car, good pics or bad pics I'd be looking at it... and the text of the ad would be enough to draw me in - in this case.

In 1969 wouldn't a Charger R/T 440 4-speed use a Dana 60 rear? Really desirable stuff. The 440 Magnum was rated at 375 but factored more like 410 (Six Pack was 390 but factored at 430 horses).

For that car to be original paint means it is a must-see. Mopars were slapped together back then and I bet that car is a treasure trove of original details for history buffs.

I seem to remember reading about a '69 Charger R/T SE I think, that looked like that car and was wearing original paint. It was bought new by a high-profile sportscaster. I'd almost swear it was the same car but that one was ordered with headrest delete, which you could do for a time in '69.

A collector with a big wallet will scoop that thing.

A scant $68k to a wealthy American. Ad is gone, so I assume it sold...
