Morden is about 100 kms southwest of winnipeg - this was my big road trip for the summer - we have some relatives who moved there this summer so we went for a day visit

Its a nice town with a strong collector car hobby - anyway i hadn't been there for a few years so i did a quick explore to see some of the sights

Very nice, those IH's should have sold if they were for sale, they look real solid. I like that red Dodge too.

Many have tried to buy the scout, it has sat in the same spot for 3 years and the owner will not sell.

All of them are interesting. Usually those Int'ls rusted out vertically along the fenders near the doors, but that truck is solid. The Scout pickup appears to be a 1970. I remember sitting in a brand new 1969 Scout at the Toronto Sportsman Show and loving it, plus the new white-with-woodgrain 1969 International 1210 pickup with a slide-in camper.

 

That '59 Dodge, for just a humble 4-door, is really cool and way out there, just like all  the Chrysler products back then.

It's funny about the Dodges in Canada around 64/65. In 64 they only sold the mid-size models, not the large 880. For 1965 it was reversed, we didn't get any '65 mid-size Coronets but the new large Polaras. Plymouth, same thing with their versions.

The front end of that red Dodge is sinister looking, and very cool at the same time. I can see why these late 50s Chrysler products have such a strong following.

The dashes in the old mopars were space age and quite a variety of looks.
