Love it! John, you may recall we have a decent sized driveway, it's about 60 x 30. One kid next door loves to ride his hover board on it because it's the newest and smoothest one in the neighborhood. I told him he can let 'er rip on there as long as there's no vehicles on it ( and for the most part its free of vehicles). It's tough to beat watching kids playing outside having fun...

Yes you do have a great and safe spot for children to ride boards, bikes and the like. Good for you letting them use it.

It is a great reminder that we are human and we don't need to adopt a paranoid, siege mentality.

 

On our street a neighbor had a portable basketball net that sometimes the other neighborhood kids would use. The owner gradually lost interest but the other kids on the street missed it, so they asked if they could borrow it. The owner said, "sure, you can take it." This was not a cheap item. For the next few summers it got a good workout on the street.

 

You know, paying it forward is a magical thing, often times good things come back to the giver. Usually it is because of the giver's attitude towards life.

 I could not agree more; in recent years my family and I have had a serious health scare experience. In the spirit of paying it forward, I can say that the support we received was unbelievable, and we try to do the same for others who need support.
