One would think that if a person can afford to drive a car like this, he or she would also have the resources and foresight to buy sufficient insurance for its value.

I find that there is a certain group that need to flash a high-end vehicle, that also has no true understanding, appreciation or skill to own such a car. I see it all the time.

To under-insure the car and go after the shop is just unconscionable. The shop had to spend time & money to defend themselves against this wacko levy.

No sympathy. Way out of your depth. Consider it a wake-up. Next time around get a Kia. Then you won't shed a tear when you hit your next rock.
