Of course those fines will all be given back to the customers in the form of a rebate.

For no apparent reason, my insurance went up nearly 30% this year..... furious guess I'm doing my part to pay their fines.

Every single year, year after year. I shop around on line for lower car and house insurance. Most of the time i find a much lower rate for the same or better coverage. About four years ago i found my elderly mom, house insurance that was not only better coverage but was also less than half the cost, less than half. Insurance company's do not care for anyone's loyalty, it is just about squeezing as much coin as they can while they can out of someone. You have to do your own homework and in turn save money that you would have thrown in the toilet otherwise.

When i renewed my car insurance for my everyday driver last April, the rate went up by just over $200 with NO CLAIMS. I shopped around and found an insurance company that dropped my deductible from $1,000 to $500, gave me accident forgiveness, that i have never had before and lowered my rate so that i was actually paying $60.00 less than what i was paying before the stupid increase. Now why would anyone not shop around every year and put the scum suckers in their place with these greedy increases. Loyalty died many many years ago. They are out to get you, so beat them at their own game.
