And for guys with a 1966 Pontiac, Dave's 1966 oil change decal is the only correct one on the market (as proven by a 12,000 original mile 1966 Pontiac) that I've been able to find. All the other guys listing a 66 decal show the wrong one which looks completely different.

Wow! I still have the original glue for the oil change decal under my hood, but the decal was gone when I got the car in '85. It never had jacking instructions, just the jack storage. I think '66 may have been the last year for the Bendix vacuum reservoir decal for the A-bodies, but Canadian drum brake B-bodies may have used them through '67 or even '68, whenever they used the black painted reservoir.

You are doing a great thing, Dave!
For whatever reason the oil change decals seem to be one of the first ones to die. I wonder if the pressure washers did a number on them?
And for the record, getting that 50 year old glue off is nasty! When I installed the oil change decal on the other side (correct on big block installations) I wanted to remove all traces of the glue from the decal on the small block (driver's side). Wow that was a chore. Many different chemicals, polishes etc were tried in the removal.

For anyone with a 66 Canadian car wanting an oil change decal, as far as I've ever been able to find, Dave has the only correct reproduction decal. Lots of guys list a 66 oil change decal but in every case I found, they had the wrong decal for Canada for 1966. It appears to be unique. And for those who may not know, it goes on the passenger side inner fender on big block cars, driver inner fender on small block cars.

I believe at least Chev and Pontiac from what I've seen. I can't vouch for the Buick and Olds models though. And this includes Beaumonts as well for 66.

My 65 Canso SD, when I got it in 1986 had 43,000 miles on it. The only evidence of an underhood decal was the coolant decal which was still there and intact. I don't doubt that they used the battery decal but for some reason I'm very sure mine never had one; there was no evidence of it ever having been there, glue, traces of the decal still, etc.
