I did not read the article, but could it not just flash over warm just as fast?

Usually we get temps going back and forth this time of the year, is a bit different this year, the cold temps and snow have been steady for over two weeks now......

Monday we get a plus temp of +3c,and Tuesday +6c ....don't think it will be enough to get rid of the snow. But then we do have the Chinooks, a couple of days of +24c

like back east could do the trick......I don't think that will happen.

I just hope that my winter tires do not have to go on until early to mid December, here in southern Ontario. smile

While Calgary & Southern Alberta's temperatures can go up and down like a yo-yo with our chinook's, the Banff area doesn't experience this.

Some computer models are showing 25+CM for us next weekend. They can't predict tomorrow's weather accurately so I'm taking that with a grain of salt..

Well we were within half a degree of setting an all time low for October at -5.5. Broke the record for snow on any day of October with close to 6 inches. Big White I'm sure will be open a couple weeks before usual too. Hoping this will melt away as I expect another cut yet on the lawn and some trimming on the cedars.

Yes, I think we'll get rain. Maybe snow for NS and for sure for NFLD.
