Cool wagon!

Ask Mike (UrbanSuburban) how much work and $$$ this wagon would take to restore. At least it's in better shape than the other 327/4 speed.

I think I lived only 4 or 5 miles away from this car when I was in Ardrossan. If I'd have known it was there, I would have tried to buy it then!

Contradiction noticed, if this air cleaner is correct, and I don't know it is, then the other 64 at auction's air cleaner is suspect unless the snorkle was placed left or right at assembler's discretion in factory.

Just wondering what the 64 experts say is right this time?

The "Correct 64 air Cleaner" painted red snorkle to driver's side

On those ones as I recall the base is just a plain circle so you can rotate it wherever you like. It doesn't have the notch in it like a Quadrajet base for example.

So snorkle has no "Factory Correct" Setting, it just goes whatever way owner likes?

I think if you were doing a show, there is a correct way and a difference between the direction on an ac and non ac air cleaner.

If I remember right one of the later years assembly manuals for a car that uses this same air cleaner actually shows the orientation for the worker on the line when he tightens the air cleaner nut.

 I'd wager passenger side.

My 65 CS with a similar air cleaner has the snorkel pointing to the passenger side as dictated by the location of the decal indicating which air cleaner element to use.

Correct, the decal predicts the orientation.
