Weight of my 65 vert


would anyone know the weight of a standard, no frills 65 vert, split bench, no accessories, 283, powerglide parisienne convertible? Cheers

I would say the same as my 65 Impala....

So I don't feel like shoveling snow and driving down to the scale, but google says approx 3600lbs

The book, Catalog of Canadian Car I D Numbers lists a V8 Parisienne convertible at 3659 lbs.

I'm surprised, I know a 427 Grande Parisienne is around 4200 lbs, at least it was in the 80's!

How much would be in the differential weight of the engine and transmission ? 200 to 250 in the 427 Grand Parisienne?

I was getting a couple of different weights when googling.i ended up with 4200 mark, imperial of course. But if a book says 3660, that must be the go. Just need to add big block, T400 difference. Our aussie ones dont have the full dashes you have either.
