What a time capsule!

I would have handled the cleanup a little differently than they did (like rinse off the dust and grime with water as completely as possible before wiping it with anything), but the result sure looked great!  I guess that's why they are the professionals! smile

I dunno. I thought the same thing but it didn't seem to harm the paint at all so maybe this foam they apply and using the micro fibre cloth prevents any damage? They are considered tops in their fields (millionaires now thanks to their Youtube Channel).

Check out this video from the same guys. A 427 Corvette that hasn't moved in 30 years. Better yet, check out all the cars in this guys warehouse? Oh the neglect!

I don't get it.......washing with abrasive anything sitting on your paint is akin to using a brick

The dry wash theory is either convenience or not getting water in areas on many of our older cars as the corrosion process is accelerated by water

Foam is wet and there isn't enough knap in any microfiber that is going to "lift" the abrasive material away from the paint

A good old pressure washer from a safe distance will remove almost all of the abrasives sitting on the paint......then use a nice sudsy wash to remove grime, etc
