Progress! Curious why the Vintage Air installation places the compressor on the driver's side of the engine, makes for some complicated plumbing, but I guess for a bolt-on kit, it makes sense to supply longer supply lines and wiring harness, than expecting the installer to move the alternator.
I opted for the underdash outlets, rather than the ducts up under the windshield that would have been installed on an American Pontiac Tempest/GTO. Love the power window installation; Balls would have given me more options for stuff like remote door locks, or making the windows respond to the remote, but I prefer the OEM look. Replaced the Lokar shifter she came with, with an OE-appearing item that works the 700R without messing with the vintage cosmetics. Rear discs going on next, still awaiting the RideTech suspension to arrive.
Will advise when we figure out the backup lamps. Thanks to the group, I'm more sober about the prospects of a bolt-on solution.
Anyone have templates or measurements for the SD emblems? I'm gonna leave the "427" stuff in place on the front fenders, but have the Sport Deluxe badges for the passenger side dash and trunk, the "gills" for the front fenders, and the SD emblems to go above where the V8s ought to be.

Your photos are from an iPhone (or iPad) in Live Photo mode. The pictures are actually short videos and when you open them, theres some motion. The file format ends up being the filename.heic, which i believe is an Apple-only format. Turn the Live Photo option off and your photos will be jpegs and everyone will be able to view them. Went through the same thing with my new phone.
