I didn;t want to take away from Marks post but I see they mentioned the 1973 restyle on the packaging for the red one.  Years ago Johnny Lightning used Bill Markowskis' (of Buffalo and GTOAA executive ) white '73 as the model for the release of the 1973 GTO, then after Bill and I met up in Hamilton I noticed a blue version was released.

Good for them! And so you should. It's not even so much that they gave you the toy, it's the fact that they valued you enough to remember to do it and took the time to send you the toy.
