Interesting video. I was always under the impression Yenko cars were built with a 427 / 425 or 435 hp engine not a 427 390 hp engine. Nice camaro but the blue exterior red interior is quite a weird colour combination.

Great story!

I noticed an interesting little bit of trivia I hadn't ever caught before.

1966 and 1969 B body L36 427's were rated at 390 horse, 1967 and 1968 were rated at 385 horse. That I always knew. I didn't ever notice before that the Corvette never wavered, it was always a 390 horse rating for the L36. When I was watching the video and saw it was a 67 Corvette L36 engine Don Yenko put in, I thought they had the wrong horsepower rating on it, but not so.

Wow, I actually love the blue and red combo, very unique. I had a friend who worked at GM and he had ordering priviledges, He told me years ago that blue and red was a non recommended combination but you could do it as a COPO order. he loved getting his cars in that combo.
